Competitions

The competition structure.

The federation does not currently publish a verified competition calendar. This page states what a national competition structure has to contain, what is being established, and how clubs will enter it. Nothing here is presented as already running.

Structure

The structure we are building.

Four tiers. Each is being established — none of them is running today. Names, formats, age categories and entry criteria are set in competition regulations, and those regulations are published before any entry opens.

Being established

National senior competition

A senior domestic competition for affiliated clubs, played to a fixture list published in advance, with results and standings kept on the public record.

Being established

Provincial and regional basketball

Competition run with provincial partners, so that players outside the capital can compete and be selected without having to relocate to play.

Being established

School basketball

Competition inside the school system, run with schools and federation-licensed coaches. Age categories and safeguarding rules are set in the regulations before any entry opens.

Being established

3x3

The 3x3 discipline, played under FIBA rules. A format a club, a province or a school can host without a full arena, and an entry route into sanctioned international competition.

No league name, team list or format appears on this page, because none has been ratified. The federation will not publish a competition as running before it runs.

Calendar

No fixtures are published.

The federation has no verified competition calendar to publish. Rather than fill this page with placeholder fixtures, we state the position plainly: there is nothing scheduled that can be put on the record today.

Nothing scheduled

When a season is set, the calendar is published in advance — a full fixture list before the season starts, not an announcement weeks out. Until then this page stays empty on purpose.

What will be published

  • Fixture list, dates and venues
  • Competition regulations and eligibility
  • Entry criteria and entry deadlines
  • Results, standings and final classification
  • Disciplinary and appeal decisions

When it is published

03

Return to competition

A national competition calendar that runs every season, and Cambodian teams entered in FIBA Asia and SEABA competition on schedule.

The season calendar will be published in advance once that phase begins. Cambodia competes in the FIBA Asia zone, and the domestic calendar has to be set around the international one — so it is published as a whole, or not at all.

The restructure

Entry

Entering a competition.

No competition is open for entry at this time. A club that intends to enter one should register now, so that it is on the federation's record before entries open.

  1. 01

    Register your club

Club affiliation is being reopened as part of the restructure. Registering puts your club on the federation's list, so that it is contacted directly when entries open.

  2. 02

    Regulations are published

Before entries open, the federation publishes the competition regulations — format, eligibility, age categories, officiating and discipline. Nothing is decided after entry.

  3. 03

    Entries open

Entry criteria and deadlines are published with the calendar. A club that is affiliated and meets the published criteria may enter.
