National teams

Kingdom of Cambodia

The national teams,
stated honestly.

The federation is responsible for national representation in men's, women's, youth and 3x3 basketball. This page publishes what it can evidence — the verified competitive record and the current standing — and says plainly what is not yet in place. No roster, fixture or appointment appears here until it is real.

The programmes

Four programmes, one pathway.

Each programme below states what the federation holds on record and what is being rebuilt under the restructure. Where the federation cannot evidence a record, it publishes none.

Men's Senior

Verified record

The men's senior team carries the federation's only verified competitive record — silver at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games. The full record is set out below.

Standing selection rather than a squad assembled weeks before a tournament: a year-round player pool, qualified coaching staff appointed on contract, and a fixture calendar published in advance.

Phase 03Return to competition

Women's Senior

No verified record

The federation holds no verified competitive record for this programme and will not publish one it cannot evidence.

A women's programme on the same terms as the men's — the same selection route, the same coaching standard, the same published calendar. It is built alongside, not afterwards.

Phase 02Rebuild the pathway

Youth — U16 & U18

No verified record

The federation holds no verified competitive record for this programme and will not publish one it cannot evidence.

School and club identification feeding published U16 and U18 selection. A national team is built here or it is not built at all.

No minor is named, photographed or otherwise identified on this website.

Phase 02Rebuild the pathway

3x3

No verified record

The federation holds no verified competitive record for this programme and will not publish one it cannot evidence.

3x3 is a separate FIBA discipline with its own ranking and its own qualification route. Cambodian players must be registered and ranked before teams are entered.

Phase 03Return to competition

Men's senior record

The record, in full.

Every result below is verified against FIBA and the national team's cited competitive record. Results the federation cannot verify are not listed.

The federation publishes no result it cannot source. Where a competition is absent from this table, it is because the record has not been verified — not because it is being withheld.

Where we stand

Stated plainly.

A governing body that will not describe its own position accurately cannot be trusted to change it.

Cambodia is unranked by FIBA. The men's senior team has never appeared at a FIBA Asia Cup and has never qualified for a World Cup. That is the starting position. It is also the case for the rebuild.

Selection & fixtures

Nothing is published yet.

The federation has not set a selection window or a fixture calendar, so it publishes neither. This page will carry both once the pathway is running.

What will be published here

  • Selection criteria and open trial dates for each programme.
  • The coaching and technical staff appointed to each national team.
  • Squads announced for each competition the federation enters.
  • Fixtures, results and final standings on the public record.

When

Selection follows the pathway, and the pathway follows the restructure. The federation is not naming a date it has not set.

  1. Phase 02

    Rebuild the pathway

Club affiliation reopened, coach and referee licensing restarted, and a published national selection route from youth to senior.

  2. Phase 03

    Return to competition

A national competition calendar that runs every season, and Cambodian teams entered in FIBA Asia and SEABA competition on schedule.
